It reminds me of a skein of raw silk, a rushing river shot at slow shutter speed, and...a purple lettuce leaf. No matter what it is, it's a great shot! The lines, color, and texture are just gorgeous.

beautiful texture. to me, it evokes an image of the earth taken from space - a barren landscape. Perhaps I've spent too much time on google earth...

I am quite revolted but can't stop looking at these photos. Yesterday I thought it looked like someone dead ..... Today I am veering towards Angry Buddha's comments about naughty ticklish areas....but that's just me.

I love the detail on the wrinkled area. It reminds me of lettuce or cabbage.
